It's Time—An Object Theatre Performance

Friday, Jul 30, 2010
8:00 am - 9:00 am

Santa Fe Children's Museum
1050 Old Pecos Trail
Santa Fe, 87504

Loren Kahn Puppet and Object Theatre presents It’s Time, a new object theater production for the very young performed by Isabelle Kessler. Debuting in early 2010, It’s Time has been developed for ages 1-3 or 3-5. A character, dressed all in gray, arrives in her workshop. In this quiet gray nest, color is born, feather by feather. A yellow feather: the sunrise? A blue feather: storm of blue sky? Story fragments create a bird, then an egg -- what color will it be? Simplicity and tranquility are explored in this performance, which was created for the age when each moment is a discovery and magic is in the emotions. Using object theatre as a bridge between theatre, visual art and puppetry, Loren Kahn Puppet and Object Theater brings to life a hilarious and magical world, delighting tiny children and provoking reflection in teenagers and grownups.
