noon - 5pm

Santa Fe Children's Museum
1050 Old Pecos Trail
Santa Fe, 87504

Come celebrate the beginning of a new season at the Museum during the annual Fall Festival!
This is a great way to help your child connect to the cyles of the earth and reap the bounty from all the planting done in the garden during the summer.
Atomic Grass, an awesome local bluegrass band, will play traditional and contemporary bluegrass music. Atomic Grass, formed in 1977, is one of the longest-running bluegrass groups in New Mexico.
Take part in many hands-on activities appropriate for the entire family. Fashion fall wreaths out of greenery from the garden. Build bird feeders with pine cones and suet so you can feed your backyard friends during the fall and winter. Create lavender bath salts with this aeromatic herb from the Earthwoks Garden, and fashion unique corn husk dolls. You can also cook pumpkin pancakes and make delicious apple cider with an apple press. Raptors from the Santa Fe Raptor Center will also be making a visit. Join us!

Santa Fe Soul Health & Healing Center
2905 Rodeo Park Drive East
Building 3
Santa Fe, 87505

Each class begins with a roundtable where we take time for discussion and friendship. This is an opportunity for each mother-to-be to talk about how she is feeling and ask any questions. There is a special comraderie and closeness that comes during this time and most women find the support to be invaluable.

The discussion is followed by meditation to quiet the mind and bring focus to the body and the woman's growing baby. Then we move in to breathwork, stretching, strength building, and balancing postures that help to prepare the body and mind for the process of giving birth. Each class is a unique experience tailored to all stages of pregnancy. We finish the yoga session with deep rest and relaxation.
