The museum offers FREE Family Programs where children ages 4-12 and their adult companions can explore themes in art by looking at works on exhibit in the galleries and participating in multi-disciplinary, hands-on art activities. The activities promote critical thinking skills and creative, interdisciplinary art making. The two hour, Saturday morning sessions are a fun family outing.

In addition to school tours and lessons, afterschool programs, and the Art and Leadership Programs, a variety of youth programs take place throughout the year.
