The Vista Grande Public Library offers a variety of programs that fit the developmental needs of children in a safe and nurturing environment.

Our programs include:

Mom + Tot Story hour
Expose your youngsters to the joys of reading at an early age. Bring your preschoolers for an exciting story hour and a chance to visit the library before it opens to the public.

After School Reading
Designed to complement the reading levels of elementary school age children. After school reading meets from 3:00 - 4:30 pm in the Irene Peck Children’s Room. Children have the opportunity to read aloud, write plays, read poetry and play word games. Parents must register their child at the beginning of each semester.

Movie Night
Join us for popcorn, juice and hot chocolate as you watch some of the most recently released family movies. Put your children in pajamas and make a night of it.
