¡Santa Fe CONVIVE! is a collaboration between Many Mothers, Fathers New Mexico, Las Cumbres Community Services, and Gerard’s House with the mission of connecting parents to resources. We focus on addressing the growing gap of early childhood disparity in Santa Fe County through bi-monthly “teach and talk” workshops, and through peer support groups. Each workshop, we host someone from a different organization to talk about an issue afflicting our community, ways to prevent it, and what their organization provides to help. These shifting topics are not only relevant to disadvantaged youth, immigrant families, and single mothers, but are relevant to ALL parents, prospective parents, or anyone who has an impact on a child’s life. Through these workshops, we hope to connect parents to free community service agencies, as well as to other parents, as both of which are sources of ongoing support. We believe that by encouraging peer support groups to organize, form a leadership team amidst each other, and talk regularly on issues that matter most to them, they provide the space for empowerment and leadership to happen from within the communities.

Bi-monthly meetings at Gerard’s House, Wednesday nights from 6:30-8pm

This program is supported by opportunitysanta.org.
